ADULT

  • Entrance ticket : $5 for each competition day

CHILD (3-12 years old)

Arrival of Contingents

Contingents have to inform the Organiser, details of their arrival, latest by the 20 th J anuar y 2008 as follows:

• Date & time of arrival

• Flight / Bus / Train no.

 

1 Liaison Officer (LO) will be attached to every contingent through out the competition. The arrival of contingents will be welcomed by the Protocol Committee & the respective L.O. All participants must arrive in Singapore by 7 th February 2008 , Wednesday .

 

Any participants who wish to come earlier than the expected date will have to be responsible for their own accommodation, food and transportation. The organizer will help with the hotel reservations only.

 

Departure of Contingents

All contingents have to check out from the hotel on 11 th February 2008 by 12 noon .
Transportation will be provided from the hotel to Airport / Railway Station / Bus terminal.

If any contingents wish to prolong their stay in Singapore and wish to lodge in the same hotel or in other hotels, please inform the Organising Committee in advance so that the committee can make necessary arrangements. The contingents have to pay according to the rate of intended hotels.

 

Transportation

The Committee will provide transport for the following needs:

•  From the contingents arrival location to the hotel either at the time of arrival or time of departure and also to competition venue.

•  For emergency such as taking someone to hospital, etc.

The Committee will not serve any request for personal needs. The Committee will provide information about public transportation for those who need it.

 

 

Accommodation

•  All participants will be lodged in the official accommodation at: (TBC)

•  2 or 3 persons will be accommodated in a room.

•  Participants must comply with the rule & regulations as set by the hotel management.

•  To report any damages to L.O once the participants check into the rooms.

•  Use of local or international calls in the room by the participant will be at own account.

•  Mini bar in the hotel room under own account.

 

 

Meals

All meals will be borne by the organiser. All meals are HALAL.

All meals will be served in a buffet-style & to be consumed in the hotels / competition venue. The stipulated meals time are as follows:

Breakfast :0700 – 1000hrs (Hotel)

Lunch :1200 – 1330hrs (Hotel)

Dinner :1830 – 1930hrs (Packet)

Participants must produce their pass whenever they enter the restaurant area.

Room service meals and any meals or drinks not consumed in the stipulated meals hours will be on personal account.

Please inform the Organiser in advance if vegetarian food needs to be catered.

 

 

Supporters

Please note that all supporters are not eligible for the SGD$65 per day participant fee. They will have to pay a different amount which will be advised upon request.

Please liaise with the Organiser if there are supporters in your team/group.

 

 

Insurance & Medical Services

A Medical Team will be on duty through out the event. If participants need further treatment at the hospital due to injury suffered during the competition, the Organiser shall not hold any responsibility for the medical bills.

Participants who needs the medical service must produce their pass to the medical officials.

All participants will be insured with a basic coverage for injuries arising from personal accident during the competitions. Please check with the Organiser on the details and extent of coverage. Participants are responsible to seek independent professional advice on the amount and extent of coverage that is suitable for their own particular circumstances and needs, in relation to their participation in this event.

 

 

Protocol Etiquette & Discipline

The etiquette & discipline for attire during the 1 st All Women's International Pencak Silat Open Championship 2007 are as follows:

Reception

Casual / Smart

 

The discipline of ceremonies & competition are as follows:

Participants must attend every ceremony & event on time according to the schedule set by the Organiser.

Participants must display decent personal appearance with good attitude and spirit of sportsmanship.

Participants should follow any ceremony in an orderly manner whilst it is taking place, should not utter any noise which might disturb the solemnity of the ceremony.

Disciplinary action will be taken against athletes with obscene or rude behaviour or attitude.

 

 

General Matters

•  All participants for the 1 st All Women's International Pencak Silat Open Championship will be given an I.D Pass.

•  The I.D pass must be worn throughout the Championship.

•  There will be a Challenge trophy for the overall champion but the trophy will not be kept permanently by the winner. The winner will only be allowed to retain it permanently if the country emerges as the Champion for 3 consecutive years. However there will be a replica for the trophy.

•  The winner for the Overall Champion should return the Challenge trophy to the next Organiser of the All Women's International Pencak Silat Open Championship in 2009.

•  There will be awards for the Best Female athletes. Criteria for Best Female athlete are as below:

•  The number of categories she competed in

•  The number of gold medals she has won

•  Good sportsmanship

•  The number of matches she has fought

•  The number of knock-outs

 

•  All countries are required to bring along their National Flag (2 pieces) & country's National Anthem.

 

Narcotics

It is strictly prohibited to bring, consume or to distribute all kinds of drugs or its equivalent in Singapore . Any participants caught or arrested by Singapore Police Force violating the laws will be dealt with in accordance to the Court Of Law in Singapore . The Organising Committee will not help anyone caught under such circumstances.
